Glintiss Ltd is an educational support company registered in England and Wales. It owns and operates the Dr Yannis digital education ecosystem: a connected collection of websites, videos, study tools, newsletters and live events designed to make legal education more accessible.
Our work focuses particularly on English law and preparation for the Solicitors Qualifying Examination (SQE). We combine structured explanations, SQE-style multiple-choice questions, study-planning tools and live teaching to support candidates at different stages of their preparation.
About Dr Yannis
Dr Yannis (Ioannis) Glinavos is the founder and director of Glintiss Ltd. He has more than 20 years’ experience teaching law students at undergraduate and postgraduate level and has extensive experience designing and delivering online legal education.
Dr Yannis holds an LLB from the University of Essex and an LLM and PhD from the University of Kent. His academic work has appeared in peer-reviewed journals, while his commentary has been published by international media including The Independent, Forbes, Newsweek and HuffPost.
Through Glintiss Ltd, Dr Yannis creates independent educational resources intended to help learners understand difficult legal concepts, prepare more effectively and make informed decisions about their studies.

DrYannis.co.uk is the main information and discovery hub. It brings together the available SQE resources and helps candidates identify suitable videos, questions, study tools, newsletters and live sessions.
Dr Yannis on YouTube
The Dr Yannis YouTube channel is the ecosystem’s principal public video library. It provides an extensive collection of SQE preparation videos, English-law explanations, practice questions, revision sessions and free livestreams.
SQE study app
app.DrYannis.co.uk provides interactive SQE preparation tools, including a study planner and a curated bank of SQE-style multiple-choice questions. The app is intended to help candidates organise their studies and practise applying legal principles.
SQE Newsletter
The Dr Yannis SQE Newsletter offers regular preparation support built around SQE-style questions and related learning material. It provides another route for candidates to maintain contact with the law and test their understanding during their preparation.
Live events

Our approach
Glintiss Ltd aims to provide clear, practical and affordable educational support. The Dr Yannis ecosystem is deliberately designed so that learners can use individual resources or combine them according to their needs.
A substantial part of the ecosystem is available free of charge. Paid workshops and other optional services provide additional opportunities for focused teaching and interaction.
The SQE materials are independently produced educational resources. Glintiss Ltd and Dr Yannis are not affiliated with or endorsed by the Solicitors Regulation Authority. Learners should always consult the current SRA assessment specification and official information when planning their preparation.
